Wanted to mention that I'm going to be at ConDFW, which is coming up February 23-25, in Dallas, Texas. Not only is it right next to Fort Worth where I grew up, but it's a great literary SF/F convention, in the long tradition of Texas conventions like ArmadilloCon 29 (in Austin in August, which hosted last year's World Fantasy) and AggieCon 38 (in March in College Station, with Gene Wolfe as the GoH).

Major guests for ConDFW will be: Emma Bull, Will Shetterly, Harry Turtledove, Bob Eggleton, Robert Asprin, Steven K. Z. Brust, David A. Cherry, John Steakley, plus a long list of local authors.
