Barnes & Noble is showing Sept 23 now, and Amazon Sept 30. I'm going to order from BN and cross my fingers. Martha, I love all your books, and I'm really looking forward to these new Raksura stories.

Thank you, Laynie!

No, I've got to say thank you! Your books have been a sea of comfort in stressful times, and through the death of both parents (years apart). They're like old friends I can go to for comfort. During the 80's as a teenager, Stephen King books were automatic buys for me. No need to read the back cover, I knew I would enjoy them. Your books have been automatic buys for me for the last 15 years, after I picked up "The Element of Fire" at the library and was hooked. I re-read them often, and still pick up a few things I missed the last time I read them. I bought the Tremaine series without reading them for, I think, a couple years because I was still caught in the worlds of Khat and Maskelle, and they seemed such a sudden veer in another direction. Yep, read the first page of the Wizard Hunters and devoured them in a couple days (to be re-read at leisure for many years). Same with the Raksura novels, different species entirely (and with wings!). Love them all. I know you'll make me laugh and enjoy all these great characters and new worlds in every book. So, honestly, I have to say, Thank YOU!

Thank you very much for telling me that, I can't tell you how much I appreciate it. I'm so glad my books can give you comfort. And I really, really needed to hear that tonight.

I'm glad. :) My favorite quote is: 'To the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world.' You have a wonderful gift for storytelling, Martha. You do make a difference, and you make the world a little bit (or a LOT) better for some.

I tried to buy Stories of the Raksura Volume 1 on itunes, but it says the release date is Sept 22nd. It also has the two stories split up, each of them $9.99. Just wanted to give you a heads up that something may be wrong with the itunes release.

Yes, iBooks/iTunes has completely screwed up the listing. The two separate entries for the individual stories should have been removed months ago when the publisher decided not to split them up. (iBooks can't sell them that way anyway, because there are no files for the separate versions.) The preorder listing for the correct anthology ebook was up as late as Monday, and then disappeared completely on Tuesday. I think they have the listings with the audiobook and ebook version confused in some way. The publisher is looking into it, but I don't know when/if it's going to be fixed.
